23: tuki tuki- tuki tuki!

Rather obviously, I'm back from adventure camp :D and I must say it was pretty darn fun. I guess I shall once again be reduced to rambling about some parts and totally ignoring others. Like how much I hated having to bathe in the open and get sand everywhere. EW.

Day before camp, a bunch of us opted to stay over in church, presumably to do last minute admin, more to have fun :D

Kenneth and I discovered you can melt styrofoam with spray paint, and spent much time doing exactly that and entertaining ourselves. (try it sometime)

Dinner was amusing, with us on mannequin nipplewatch and talking about first impressions. Ryan went from loser (joycelyns impression) to tortise ( My friends impression) all in one night. We then dragged our butts down to cold storage where Ryan insisted on bying a nasty japanese sports gel (the kind you drink) so that he could look pro. We the promptly lost joycelyn, who had in fact gone in search of food. Re-united, we once again traipsed back to church where kenny and darren were. Joycelyn fretted over her sova while the rest of us cleaned and noted down all the tents and stuff. And I had to wash many many many things. Evil kenny and darren the chased me out of the room on pretext of changing, before permanently scarring joycelyn with a faux stripshow. HAHA. In return, we dumped Kenny's pants in one of the coolers when we were about to sleep and found them lying about. As we were drifting off, Phenry msged to say put all the coke in the fridge.
We were angry, and woke up the guys to do the work for us :D

Breakfast at ya kun, the off to east coast! Along the way, we came up with a group cheer, and decided our group name was britney. This meant most of the time we felt more like we were calling a person versus a group.

At the camp site, we discivered the RED ANTS. who somehow lived only in patches. For the rest of the camp you could see people randomly leaping and curing as the red devil thingies BURIED their FANGS in us.
Upon realising the tent was too small, I opted to sleep in the pavilion. Also, I like the night breeze. Which makes my hair go crazy, but who cares? everyone kind of looks like shit at adventure camp :D awesomeness.

KAYAKING.
Very very fun, in very choppy seas. My poor partner was this little girl who could barely lift her oars, so stupid huimei strained her arms and couldnt go for the re-launch. We also washed ashore, incidentally. This meant getting sand everywhere ,like EVERYWHERE and freaking out cause I was so scared my little partner would get crushed on the rocks or smth. Was very happy to shower, and sat about playing um-chi-chi (dont ask) till the bus came. Did I mention Elza and I made alot of noise singing/playing music on the way there and back? so fun.

NIGHT CYCLING
was wonderful :D the night breeze was cooling and the lighst were out, and it was the beach cmon, it was great. Nice nice johnston put up with my non-proness and brought me on a tandem. It was seriously damn nice. But he suffered badly when we went over unseen humps HAHAHAHA oh gods sorry man but it was damn funny! Cycled to see the flyer, and joycelyn switched with johnston on the way back

Sadly, Hsinqin saw this as the opportune moment to declare his affection for her, which unfortunately resulted in a top-speed bike chase with me clinging on to the backseat and screaming. That was fun, embarrassing, and somewhat terrifying. I was rather peeved at umbrella man, but we sorted it out later on the way to the showers.

The next morning I awoke with the oddest and most peircing pain in both pinkies, which was both excruciating and funny. Like, PINKIE CRAMP? wth man.

HEIGHT ELEMENTS
was a bit of waste for me, cause I only did the rock wall and didnt even get halfway up.
and I re-strained my arms. wonderful.
But kenny and johnstons little dance on the top of the broken bridge........ohman haha.

CAMPFIRE
hosted by kenny and I, it was more of a time filler I suppose. We entertained with claps based on clement and pastor henry, and then played various portions of whose line. After declaring free and easy, we sat about playing number games, and murderer.

Supposedly, I went to sleep at 4.

I never did sleep.

I lay down, then, sensing smth restless, got up again. Looked like a storm was coming. We awoke pastor, who lay there and directed us to do stuff, until he realised what was gonna happen, then got up to help. We managed to bring in everything beofre it really started to storm. While joycelyn went to check the tents, the pavilion people huddled together while P henry, johnston and I attempted to fix a tarp around the pavilion.
We eventually gave up and joanne, johnston and I stood/sat in a various awkward positions holding the tarp up/down. Apparently joycelyn was very amused by how long I sat there holding it up. HAHA ok
After it started to calm down sabrina, johnston, dora and I huddle under some sleeping bags while some "refugees" from the tents came in. I think isaiah and joycelyn came off the worst that night, cause they were both drenched and exposed to the wind. Thank goodness they were fine the next morning :) I think Sab and I were the last people to sleep, at about 6++. Out of the comm/older ones/ people who were helping in the pavilion, it was quite funny that pastor was the first to sleep I think. haha.
I could swear I went to sleep surrounded by Joycelyn, Sabrina, hui xin, and next to a stone bench, so it was wierd that I woke up next to one of the guys.
Happily packed up and proceeded back to church, on the way realising that I resembeled rudolph, with the typical nose-sunburn. Which hurt quite badly actually.
I HAD TO TAKE THE BUS HOME. nuff said.
I somehow cant wait for the one next year. Must be my masochist side coming out.
