16: Misadventures of the Super Simpkins

Recently my life has been shuttling between hospital, home, and job interviews, all at the oddest hours.
But I have a really random story from today.
My uncle, deciding that I could use some exercise and make myself useful, handed me his car keys and asked me to get something from his car. I proceeded out of the hospital room where we had been, and down to the first floor.
Where I promptly got lost.
After ten minutes of wandering in circles, I found out that I had in fact been going the right way in the first place, and walked all the way to the carpark.
Which turned out to be empty.
I panicked, before realising that I was in the carpark next to the one I was supposed to be at, so I crossed the road. I walked up to the car, checked the licence plate to make sure it was the correct one, then pressed the button on the key to unlock the car.
And nothing happened.
Thinking that I might have done something wrong, I pressed the button a few more times.
And still nothing happened.
I checked the licence plate again, and it WAS the right car!
Then it dawned on me.
My family owns two cars, and that morning both my uncle and mom had seperately driven to the hospital. The car I had been trying to unlock DID belong to my family, but it was my mum's, not my uncles car -.-
After stupidly running about looking for my uncle's car, I found it, and this time it unlocked the first time I pressed the button.
I happily opened the door..................
and realised I had no idea what I was supposed to retrieve.

(In case you were wondering, yes, I managed to get back to the room safely without getting lost, and I did remember what I was supposed to get, and yes I locked the car)

And this was accomplished while I was talking to sher on my handphone, and running screaming across the roads in fear of being run over and being stared at by the general populace. How invigorating.
